90+ % absolutely correct but you have to follow the money to see the Big Picture. It's not about D versus R, it's AIPAC lobbying and influence co-opting and controlling both Team Blue and Team Red. For the ultimate benefit of Blackrock, and all the other private equity shadow bank entities working towards the Financialization of everyone and everything, from Detroit and Dearborn; to Donbas, Damascus, Teheran, Moscow, and St. Petersburg -- no matter the cost in human lives or deflated national currencies.
Polls are used to shape consensus. They worked when everybody watched television and read the daily paper. That doesn't happen any more, and the polls aren't working either.
People pick the news they listen to, and they can listen to RT if they want to. People don't answer phone calls from unknown numbers, so they don't talk to pollsters. They don't click on links in text messages from numbers they don't know, as well. Given the actions of ICE and the general corruption of government, people may be more likely to lie to pollsters if they do talk to them.
So, it's a good thing that polls aren't working any more. It means we have to try something else. Like monitoring cash registers. The only people dodging cash registers are shoplifters.
Speaking of fund raising I read somewhere the other day that with (perhaps) rare exception every Presidential election was won by the party that spent the most money spewing out their manipulative propaganda.
That having been said the repugnant party can and will outspend the dems by hugely enormous amounts in the mid-terms and in 2028
Ha!

The British Labour Party and the Democrats are joined at the hip.
Actually, no one snatches defeat from the jaws of victory faster than a San Diego sports franchise.
🤣
