i.e., [ substack+molting+"stan goff" ] should be sufficient. But the search result refuses to bring up your page- and I've only found it today through the indirect route of your Twitter feed (which currently provides a link via a Feb 2023 [?] Twitter entry of yours that does manage to come up at the top of the page in search results.)
I suppose I should check other search engines. But really- should I need to do that?
As if that wasn't bad enough, Substack simply refuses to keep your page on my list of subscriptions. I'm able to view the titles and icons for other 48 pages I've subscribed to (unpaid subscriptions listed below the paid ones, in alphabetical order.) But I haven't been able to find the page for Molting on there for months (it did formerly appear on my list.)
Are you being shadowbanned? I don't want to alarm you unduly. But frankly, the situation is making ME a little paranoid.
It has to be said that--as you're a US Army Special Forces Master Sergeant (now retired) and combat veteran who has molted from mainstream American Exceptionalist indoctrination to card-carrying Commienism, to an anti-imperialist, pro-feminist, decidedly left-leaning variant of Christian faith that has very little in common with the evangelical right-wing political confusions currently linked with the core identity of American Christianity--from the perspective of some folks, you represent a threat to a wide array of Established Narratives...like, what if the version of Christian theism that you embrace catches on?
I'd like to say that it's nothing. An ordinary Substack/search engine glitch. But if it is, it's an awfully singular one.
Might be me . . . I'm not very tekky. Just went through some instructions to get a google tag--wtfti--and am trying some 'analytics' stuff. I doubt I'm any real threat to anyone. Pacifists seldom are. (-; Thanks for the heads up. Still learning this stuff.
That last sentence is fantastic 🙌
Glad to see that "Molting" will continue in the struggle!
Stan, it isn't just Medium. I've noted my difficulties in accessing your Substack page before. It's still not available through any keyword search I've tried on DuckDuckGo. A simple, direct inquiry like https://duckduckgo.com/?q=substack+molting+%22stan+goff%22&t=newext&atb=v336-1&ia=web
